I've been tagged! (Many times:-)

The rules of the game should be posted at the beginning of the post. Each player lists 6 facts/habits about themselves. At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

(Mark and I were both tagged, so we will be putting down facts/habits about both of us.)

1. H - I'm not the biggest shopper in the world. If I have something specific I'm looking for, I'll shop all day, but just to go shopping to pass time, I'd rather not.
M - I have owned 3 pick-ups since I've been married, which is 2 years. I financed all but one of them and I'm always looking at the newest truck, and thinking about how I can get it. I am soooooo stupid.

2. H - I have to have the bed made a certain way. The bedspread has to reach past the sheet, and I fold down the top, then fold it half way up again. It drives Mark crazy that he sometimes refuses to help me make the bed. I don't mind because I like it the way I like it.
M - I've have had a checking account since I was 15, I've bounced 3 checks, 2 of them being married. Being single, I never balanced a checkbook, however I am perpetually horrible with money. The only reason I have a savings account is because of Halee, she is also the reason I have a mortgage.

3. H - I LOOOVVVEEE the Christmas Holiday. Sometimes I start listening to Chistmas music around September. I wish I could have a tree up for more than a month, and sometimes I will put on the Christmas lights in the house and on the tree, put on some soft Christmas music and just sit on the couch and look at the tree forever!
M - I hate college classes. The idea of paying somebody to tell me what to do and HAVE to do it, drives me insane!

4. H - When I am with Mark and he is driving, I drive him crazy because sometimes I'm not sure if he sees a car coming, or sees that the car in front of us is stopping, etc., and I will suck in air, or grab the door handle. Sometimes I get some dirty and frustrated look coming my way from Mark!
M - Between 16 and 19 years old, I have been pulled over 7 times for speeding and wreckless driving. I am now 23 and in the 7 years that I've been driving I have a 0 tickets and 0 wrecks.

5. H - I am probably the worlds slowest swimmer and runner. But my motto is slow but sure! The tortoise always eventually beats the hare!
M - I was in choir all 4 years of high school. After graduation I toured Europe with Utah Ambassadors of Music for 21 days. It was one of the best experiences I've had (but nothing comes close to my wedding day.)

6. H - I'm totally envious of Jenny and Amanda! Mark and I have been trying to get pregnant for a year. Since nothing has happened yet, we got a dog for me to spoil. Mark would be more than happy to get rid of the dog, though Jack is growing on me. I think Mark should hurry and become a Journeyman, so I can quit my job, which would result in less stress, which hopefully would result in: WHAM, a pregnancy!
M - I have to agree with Whitney. Marriage is great and I've never been happier. The part that Halee wrote in the last fact is right, nothing has come close to my wedding day or the last 2 years since being married to WonderWife, Goodie Johnson, aka Babealicious Baberoni.

We don't know 6 people to tag. All those that we know that have a blog have already been tagged!

Debt free and loving it!!!

Out with the new and in with the old! We sold JAWS, our white 2001 one ton power stroke and bought CLIFFORD our 1988 1/2 ton 4x4 pickup truck. There is no rust, only 2 dents in the body, interior is in excellent condition, it has a 302 V8 and a 4 speed manual. We paid $900 for it and sold the one ton the same day. I'm getting ready to start my apprenticeship as an electrician soon so selling the 1 ton helped us drop our expences and be able to put more cash in the stash until I start. I'm happy with my new truck, cuz it's MINE, not the banks. Can anyone guess why it's named Clifford?

Our new dog!!!!

This is our new dog "JACK JACK" aka: Jackson, but NEVER Jackie. We adopted him about 3 weeks ago. He is 18 months old and a purebred beagle. He's pretty funny. When he comes inside he is VERY excited and will run from our room through the living room into the hallway and back as fast as he can for about 5 minutes. Then he's good and calms down. He is getting used to the routine of going for a walk at night, doing his business and then getting on his dog pillow and going to sleep. He LOVES his chew toys, I've decided I will invest in plastic next time so I don't have all the stuffing torn out and laying around the house. He's pretty good company. The other night, Mark went to Utah and I stayed home. I took him for his walk and when we got home he went and layed on his pillow, but I stayed up to work on some crafts. Pretty soon he realized I wasn't in the room with him and so he brought out his pillow and layed on it in the living room to stay with me. Mark is still working with Jack to learn to jump up into the back of Clifford.

Our 5K

Mom, Whitney and I participated in the Perrine Bridge Festival this month. It was a 5 or 10K walk/run. We walked the 5K. It was fun. I got blisters on my feet (big surprise) so I am on the hunt for some really good and thick SOCKS! We got this T-Shirt at the end of the race. Starting Oct. 2nd Mom and I are doing a 6-week challenge at the local gym. Hopefully it will help us to be where we want to be in time for Whitney's wedding!

P.S. - I hope everyone already knew about Whitney's wedding.

The Real Mr. Potatoe Head

These are the bigger spuds we got.

This is our biiiiig spud, so far. We still have a bunch more plants to dig up.

This potatoe is the size of my head! Not bad for our first garden!

Dirt, Dirt, EVERYWHERE!

Mark and I went to Layton this past weekend to begin preperations to put in a sprinkler system for Grandma T. She wanted the level brought up quite a bit in several places, so we hauled in 20 yards of dirt and shoveled it to the places it needed to go. It made for a very long and hot day. We will probably be going to Layton for the next couple of weekends to actually get the sprinkler system in and the sod down. I know that Grandma T. can't wait!

These are 2 areas that we needed to raise the ground level. Grandma T. asked me if it seemed like it took forever for Mark and I to finally get grass. The whole process leading up to it sure did! I know Grandma T. is anxious to have green outside instead of brown so hopefully it won't take us much longer to get the sprinklers in. But let me tell ya, I was very grateful for my grass after all this dirt!

Our new Blog!

Hello everyone!

I loved looking at Jenny and Amanda's blogs so much, seeing the pictures and reading all the updates, that I decided I should start one for Mark and me. I'm not the most computer savvy, but hopefully I can get some pictures and good posts up to keep everyone up to date on what's happening with Mark and me. Keep your fingers crossed that I'll figure out how to get some pictures up soon!
